Broadcasting Love in Beijing despite of the Fervent Weather --Record of the Day of Public Service Activity of China Decor

Philanthropism and integrity is the time-honored good virtue of our Chinese nation. In the over past 30 years, the China National Decoration Co., Ltd. is always dedicated to public welfare causes. The love and sacrifice of our company and ordinary employees can be seen in many events including flood fighting in 1998, Wenchuan earthquake on 12th May 2008, Yushu earthquake and Red Cross love foundation etc. At the beginning of this year, the CPC committee and labor union of the company has started planning public service activities with love. After wide brainstorming and soliciting different opinions, the theme has been finalized.

Before 9 am, all the members arrived at the site and devoted to their own post after short-time pre-post training. The active employees of China Decoration in blue T-shirt could be seen besides the blood drawing staff wearing white uniforms or amid the kind-hearted blood donators in colorful summer clothes. They handed out the blood donation knowledge and manual to the tourists and explained the knowledge of blood donation. They held fast to the blood donation bus and shot the very precious and meaningful moments for the lovely donators with the camera in their hands. They worked together with the staffs of the blood center, served for different posts, received warmly the blood donators, showed them how to fill questionnaires, explained about the precautions of blood donating and gave out souvenirs to kind-hearted blood donators.

31th July 2016 is a memorable day. The public service activity held by China Decoration started in front of Xinhua Bookstore on Wangfujing Street, Beijng. The main part of this activity was to provide volunteer services to the blood donation bus on Wangfujing Street.

Despite of limited words here, we need to give special attention to an important person and story in the activity. That is Comarade Zhang Zonggang from the administrative department who donated 400ml fresh blood on the spot. Moreover this is his 5th time to donate blood. When his colleagues asked about him with concern, Zhang Zonggang said very plainfully: “ It doesn’t matter at all. Everything will be normal.” Then he immediately came back to the volunteer service without any privileged treatment given. He hasn’t come back to the company until 6 pm after the blood donators left and the staff in the blood center left off work.

President Li Jiefeng, Xin Jianlin, the general manager, Wu Lie, the company CPC Committee secretary and other employees who remained busy on their posts gave their attention to our public service activity in different means. We firmly believe that the public service activities of China Decoration will get better and better with the caring and support of the managerial team and devotion of all the employees.
