Li Jiefeng, the President of China Decor, was Voted the Chairman and Secretary-General of Beijing Building Construction Association

On May 24th, Beijing Building Decoration Association held the 6th general assembly. The assembly has specially invited the related leaders from Beijing Municpal Commission of Housing and Urban-Ruran Construction, Beijing Association Adminstration Office and China Building Decoration Association. In addition, about 400 members attended the meeting.

The new leading group of the association has been voted through democratic election. Li Jiefeng, the president of China Decor, was elected the new chairman and secretary-general of Beijing Building Decoration Association. In his inauguration speech, Chairman Li Jiefeng delivered the speech named “Coordinated Development and Jointly Create a Brilliant Future” . In the sppech, he expressed his high recognition and appreciation of the job done by the previous leading group and put forward the planning and vision of his new group.

According to his speech, the main responsibility and fucntion of the association is adpating to government adminstrative management, providing a better cooepration platform and more considerate services for enterprises. The prerequisite of providing good services is knowing in-depth about the member enterprises. It is also the foundation. Moreover, more efforts should be made to build platform to gather more popularity and holding more activities. Only in this way can the association genuinely play a bonding and bridging role.

The successful selection of Li Jiefeng, the president of China Decor to be the new chairman of Beijing Building Decoration Association is a significant breakthrough in national industrial assocaitions. It is groundbreaking in that the chairman of industrial association is usually acted by retired governmental offcials. The enterprenur in the industry has the innate advantages, including keen insights of the market and member enterprise needs, the capbility of connecting the development of the member enterprises, association and the entire decoration industry, which will help achieve the great goal of coordianted development and creating jointly a brilliant future.
