4th Session of 7th Standing Council of CBDA Held in Tianjin

June 23rd witnessed the 4th Session of 7th Standing Council of China Building Decoration Association (CBDA) held in Tianjin. Mr. Li Jiefeng, President of China National Decoration Co., Ltd and Vice President of CBDA presented the meeting.
Mr. Li Bingren, President of CBDA, delivered an opening speech. He made a retrospect to the development course and experience of decoration industry in China, and a comprehensive analysis of problems and drawbacks of development of industrial science and technology, put forward measures for scientific innovation and forecasted the tendency for development of science and technology in this industry.
Afterwards, Mr. Liu Xiaoyi, Vice President and Secretary General of CBDA, gave a report on the work of secretary office for the first half of 2014, including award assessment for national decoration projects, industrial credit assessment, recommendation of Industrial Top-100 enterprises and Top-50 design institutes and training of architects and designers for decoration industry. Concerning award assessment for national decoration projects, Mr. Liu emphasized that process should be further improved in terms of submittal, preliminary review, reexamination and final approval of this award. He also argued that experts, during reviewing refined projects, need not only to identify problems of enterprises, but to help to find a solution to them. The Association, he pointed out, should take industrial credit assessment as one of its key jobs for the year and only enterprises which pass credit assessment were qualified for application for titles of outstanding national and municipal enterprise; regarding recommendation for industrial Top-100, he requested that assessment indicator system be optimized, trueness review of documents submitted by enterprises be reinforced so as to guide enterprises of decoration industry on the basis of improved fairness and transparency for assessment of Top-100.
At the end of the session, some proposals announced by Mr. Li Bingren, President of the Association, were unanimously passed.
