ChairmanLi Attended the Inaugural Meeting for the Informatization Commission of Beijing Construction Decoration Association

On December 21st, the inaugural meeting for the Informatization Commission of Beijing Construction Decoration Association (ICBCDA) was grandly held in Beijing.ChairmanLi Jiefengattended and made an important speech in the meeting.

In the meeting, the Guidelinefor InformatizationDevelopment of Construction Industry 2011 – 2015wasput forward and a number of opinions concerning further facilitating the deep combination of informatization and industrialization were also discussed. According to the meeting, it is believed thatcombination of informatization and industrialization should focus on intellectual development, and a new generation of information technology applications, i.e. cloud computing, Internet of things, etc., should be developed to promote the intelligentization of industrial products, infrastructure, key equipment and process management,and to facilitate the coordination and sharing of manufacturing resources and capabilities, thusdriving the industrialchain to reach a highlevel and guiding the future development of informatization industry.

In the future, the commission will continue to propagandize and implement thepolicies and guidelines of informatization construction, guide the surveys in informatization construction and propose its advice ondevelopment of the industry. Meanwhile, the commission will also carry out exchange activities and technical seminarstopromote typical experience,study and prepare milestonesofindustrial informatization construction and arrange or guide the development of industry-specific software systems.

Chairman Li Jiefeng pointed thatthere exist broad potential and great opportunities in China’s construction decoration industry. Underthisnew situation and the new missions, certain conditions for development of informatization in construction decoration industry are available. With the concerted efforts of the whole industry, the ICBCDA will undoubtedlyfacilitate the informatization and make great contributions to the upgrading of industrialinformatization as a whole.
