Notice within China Decoration on Heatstroke Prevention in Forthcoming Summer

Summer is approaching in July with broiling sunlight and sweltering days. China National Decoration Co., Ltd, constantly holding the concept of humanistic orientation, issued instructions by Mr. Li Jeifeng, Chairman of Board of Directors that headquarters, branches of the company should actively engage in heatstroke prevention to ensure health of works at frontier of projects.

Hot summer with scorching sunlight, like a furnace, poses certain threat to health of workers exposed outdoors for long time. Mr. Li instructed that work hours should be adjusted according, specifically, working in the morning and afternoon and stoppage at noon to avoid the peak of heat in the day, and duration of working outside should be strictly limited. There should be ventilation and heat-isolation measures on construction site, anti-heatstroke and anti-mosquito medicine be given to workers, and Party Committee and Labor Union of the company should reinforce anti-heatstroke propaganda, Mr. Li also emphasized.

Headquarters, all branches and project departments should make good arrangement for heatstroke prevention of workers。In the hot summer, dedicated persons should be assigned for this job, safety accountability and emergency plans should be improved and carried out during the hot period, supervision and inspection on important equipment ad critical hazard should be intensified and remedial actions duly taken to prevent all kinds of accident during production due to hot temperature. All branches and canteens on construction sites should pay close attention to sanitation of food and drinks to ensure diet safety.
