Li Jiefeng Participates in “2011 World Green Building Congress” in Singapore

The "2011 World Green Building Conference" titled by "Green Action Now", was held on September 13th to 16th in Singapore. In order to implement the national policy of developing the green economy rapidly, and fostering the new economic growth point of green industry, green building and green transportation system characterized by low-carbon emissions, China Building Decoration Association (CBDA) and Beijing Construction Decoration Association (BCDA) have built a platform together for promotion of sustainable development of the industry, and greatly implementation of the decoration of green building, which then participate in the event in Singapore once again.

Chairman Li Jiefeng of China Decor, along with the CEOs, general managers and corporate executives of Construction&Decoration Companies committed to the development of green building industry in China, came to Singapore for the Conference together with the Associations.

This Conference has provided a platform for discussion of the challenges, successful technologies, discovered opportunities and achievements celebrations of green buildings for world's policy makers, industry leaders, experts and practitioners, which will hold the Ecobuild Asia at the same time.

Before this, Beijing Construction Decoration Association (BCDA) has signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation Projects between Beijing Construction Decoration Association (BCDA) and Singapore Building and Construction Authority" with the latter in March 2011; which has gone towards Singapore together with Construction Committee of China Building Decoration Association (CBDA) for inspection of green building and successful experience learning of green building implemented by Singapore Government in June 2011.

Representatives participated, for deeper study and exchange of related experience on green building and pace acceleration with international standards, have conducted deep exchange and communication with excellent enterprises and experts engaged in green buildings around the world through visiting the "Ecobuild Asia" and several demonstration projects of green interior decoration items. Meanwhile, representatives have also said that they will implement the "green" policy advocated in a more effective manner and devote their efforts in green building and ecological earth!
