Splendid Opening of the First Biennale of Beijing Construction Decoration Design that is the Twelfth Exhibition of Prettification House Ornamentation

On 5th August, 2011, China National Decoration Co., Ltd took part in the Twelfth Beijing Prettification House Ornamentation Exhibition that is the First Biennale of Beijing Constructionwhich was hosted by Beijing ConstructionAssociation, undertaken by Beijing Tsingshang International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and supported by China Building Decoration Association, Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development, and Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, as well as Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce, Beijing Consumer Association and Academy of Art & Design, Tsinnghua University. Li Jiefeng, the Chairman of the Board, attended the exhibition as the Vice-Chairman of Beijing Construction Decoration Association; meanwhile, he presented a speech to the opening ceremony of the exhibition on behalf of the public decoration enterprise and cut the ribbon enthusiastically. The exhibition lasted for three days, which assembled tens of well-known house ornamentation brands, nearly one hundred enterprises that possess “Double A” qualification (first-level construction and Grade A design) and professional design organizations that have independent corporate capacity as well as the backbone designers in such organizations. As the representative of the public decoration enterprises, China National Decoration participated in the exhibition, and showed our design achievements and excellent works in the last five years.

“Prettification House Ornamentation Exhibition” has been held for eleventh period continuously. The 12th adds a new highlighting exhibition “the First Biennale of Beijing Construction Decoration Design”, and the appearance of such two exhibitions in the same stage greatly enhances the professionalism of the exhibition, and the appearance of the First Biennale of Beijing Construction Decoration Design is also the significant milestone for Beijing and even the whole China construction decoration industry.

From 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on August 6, the exhibition also held “2011 Beijing Construction Decoration Design Forum”, which invited Xu Peng, Singapore Construction Bureau and Honorary Vice President of China Building Decoration Association, Zheng Shuyang, Executive Vice-President of Academy of Art & Design, Tsinnghua University, and Tu Shan, Associate Professor of Department of Environmental Art Design, Academy of Art & Design, Tsinnghua University, as well as Color & Imaging Institute, Art & Science Research Center, Tsinnghua University, and Shandong JinJing Technology Co., Ltd. and other well-known experts at home and abroad and designers to communicate interactively. Several designers in our company also participated in it actively and engaged in the communication and experience reference with excellent designers positively.

In the evening of August 6, the exhibition also selected Biennale of Beijing Construction Decoration Design “Top Ten Design Agency”, “Excellent Design Agency” and “Hundred Outstanding Designer” as well as exceptional works in hotel, residential and business field respectively and held grand award ceremony. Industry-renowned experts and leaders awarded the prizes to the award-winning organizations and designers. The event was the important one that has the largest scale and the most widely coverage level in the collection of the works in Beijing area. Beijing Construction Decoration Association invited several managers in charge of trade management, senior experts in the industry and famous university professors to serve as the accrediting and validating agency for the event by the way of quantitative assessment review, back to back scoring, and publicity of preliminary results as well as secret ballot. During the exhibition period, the award-winning agencies and excellent works would be announced and displayed. Chairman Li Jiefeng, as the Vice-Chairman of China Building Decoration Association and Beijing Construction Decoration Association, also kindly awarded the prizes to the excellent award-winning designers.

Meanwhile, our company was also chosen as “Top Ten Design Agency” by Beijing Construction Decoration Association. The works by Xin Jianlin, Wang Jiansong, Zhang Bo, and Li Mingwei, Li Jinguang as well as Xie Jinliang and more designers were obtained a number of awards respectively and the title of “Excellent Designer”.

The sponsors hope to fully demonstrate the outstanding achievements in the field of Beijing construction decoration design through this event, accelerate the development of construction decoration design, and fully play the role that the association guides the industry to develop sustainably, as well as carry out the major deployment of “12th Five-Year Plan”, drive the construction decoration industry to improve its own strength by continuous innovation during the period of “12th Five-Year Plan”, and guide Beijing construction decoration industry to be in the very front in all the national construction decoration industry, and fight for the achievements of greater development in new era.

Chairman Li said in the speech of the opening ceremony, “as the enterprise representative in the decoration field, we should play a greater role in promoting the human being to be in the way of sustainable development, which is also the glorious and arduous historic mission that the times we are in gives to the contemporary designers. We are confident to make the construction design serve the sustainable development of human society better, and with the continuous increase of the communication and cooperation with the international construction design industry, play our own dynamic role and solve the times proposition together”.

It was reported that the exhibition had many bright spots. The first one is the professional single-stop-type purchasing platform. The sponsor of the exhibition showed the six themes at the same time, which truly achieved the resource collection, lead the market trend, and set up the communication bridge for the designers with material suppliers, designers with consumers and prettification house ornamentation and other multiple fields, and became the professional single-stop-type purchasing platform.
