Chairman Li Jiefeng Attends the Meeting

From Dec 8 to 12, 2010, the “2010 China Interior Design Week” organized by the China National Interior Decoration Association (CNIDA) was ceremoniously held in Guangdong. The “Third Session of the Fourth Standing Directors’ Enlarged Meeting of CNIDA” as one item on the agenda of the event was held in the Peach Garden Auditorium of the Fontainebleau Hotel on the afternoon of Dec 11. Li Jiefeng, Chairman and General Manager of China National Decoration Co., Ltd. and vice-chairman of the CNIDA, also attended the meeting.

Liu Xu, Executive Vice-Chairman of CNIDA, summarized work of the Association in 2010 and put forward major points of work in 2011 at the meeting. All participants discussed around “fully recognizing the significant position of the interior decoration industry, firmly grasping new development opportunities to accelerate promotion of industrial structure adjustment, creating new high-level interior decoration service systems and vigorously pushing forward design creation, developing the interior decoration industry to a new level and actively enhancing development of the display art industry, striving hard to improve artistic and cultural tastes of interior decoration and supporting development of the indoor environmental protection industry,

comprehensively improving the indoor environment quality by researching and resolving tough problems in ‘house ornamentation’, earnestly exploring new “home ornamentation and furnishing” service patterns and intensifying market regulation, and further raising industrial management level.”

China is going to usher in its new development era of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period. The interior decoration industry will face new opportunities and challenges in institutional adjustment, market expansion and service level improvement. It is a consensus of all participants of the meeting that “With guidance of a series of policies and guidelines of the state and the CPC, all industries shall conscientiously research and resolve prominent problems in development and create a new situation for industrial development to adapt to needs of the state, society and general public and meet higher requirements.”

Li Jiefeng, Chairman and General Manager of China National Decoration Co., Ltd. said that rapid development of an industry could not be separated from joint efforts of all people of the industry and that China National Decoration Co., Ltd. would be committed to the mission of prosperous development of the industry with industrial responsibilities.
