Concern on Fire Protection to Ensure Construction Safety

November 9, 2008 is the 18th “119” Fire Protection Day of Beijing. The Company conducted “119” fire protection publicizing activity throughout the Company for the purpose of positively conducting “119” Fire Protection Week with topic of “Concern on Fire Protection, Care for Life, and Share of Peace”, promoting awareness on fire protection of all employees, and ensure life and property safety of all employees of the Company, each branch, and the Engineering Management Department.

At 9:30am of January 6, 2009, as led by the Vice General Manager and Administrative Director, representatives of HR Department, Finance Department, Design Institution, Engineering Management Department, Labor Department, Operation Department, and Safety Management Department as well as Company security learned relevant knowledge on fire safety in the fourth-floor conference room, mainly including basic knowledge on fire protection, instructions on electricity use in winter, and escape in case of fire disaster etc.

After the conference, relevant personnel of each department participated in fire protection rehearsal on the yard before the office building, and learnt and practiced use of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants.

Each project department also positively responded to the Head Office’s requirements and conducted fire safety education, fire safety rehearsal and etc to strengthen construction personnel’s awareness on fire protection and promote their abilities against fire disasters.

All employees and management of the Company had known importance of fire protection through fire safety activity and the target of popularizing fire protection knowledge, promoting awareness on fire protection and ability against fire disasters had been achieved, so as to better guarantee safe and stable operation of the Company.
