In “May 12th Wenchuan Earthquake” last year, many moving episodes appeared during quake relief campaigns, including donation from all walks of Taiwan to disaster-struck region in Sichuan Province, which serves as a manifesto of deep affection between compatriots of Chinese nationality across Tainwan Straits.

Not long ago, relentless Typhoon Morakot swept many counties and cities of Taiwan, dealing huge losses to people’s lives and property, which stirred deep concern of mainland people. One day after another, people of all walks in mainland China donated money to help Taiwan compatriots to fight against the catastrophe and to rebuild their homeland.

People of China Decoration were also deeply concerned with the situation in Taiwan. After investigation, top leaders of the company decided to hold a donation activity at 4:00pm on August 21st in the hall, where all employees proactively participated in donation at the wish of making contribution to reconstruction of disaster-hit regions in Taiwan, with a total amount of 16,600 Yuan raised during the activity.

Facing disasters, people across the Strait eagerly extend assistance to each other like brothers and sisters, fully demonstrating deep and solid affection and love between them. We believe that Taiwan people will certainly tide over current difficulties and reconstruct a beautiful homeland as early as possible.
