Sichuan Museum, the first project of cultural facility completed after Sichuan Earthquake.

The sudden and massive May 12 Wenchuan Earthquake caused 1.52 million people jobless or homeless, 1,449 orphans, widows or widowers, breakdown of telecommunication systems in 108 towns of 8 gravely devastated counties and extensive destruction of buildings in large areas in Sichuan Province. China Decoration donated 200,000 Yuan for reconstruction of Sichuan Museum besides money donated to Red Cross.
