Although it was the busiest time at the end of 2015, the activity had a very warm atmosphere and was attended by many honorable guests. The meeting was presided over by Xu Ning, the deputy secretary general of Beijing Design Alliance. Wu Guoxing, the chairman of Beijing Design Alliance delivered the welcoming speech and expressed his appreciation for the enormous support of all the leaders, guests, other counterparts and media present. Other guests including Liu Yi, Li Jiefeng, Liu Yanguang, Ceng Hui, Sun Xueliang, Liu Kun and Cao Xiaoxin came to the podium and made speeches one by one. They showed their recognition and approval for the establishment, orientation and missions of Beijing Design Alliance from their own field and perspectives and were full of confidence for the industrialization of building decoration, integration of upstream and downstream industries and common prosperity.

He Ning, the vice chairman and secretary general of Beijing Design Alliance, introduced the process of preparation and development of Beijing Design Alliance and the 2016 work priorities and thoughts. Chairman He proposed that under the new situations, building decoration design industry should co-develop and co-exist with originality and innovation, financial capital and cyber thinking; Beijing Design Alliance should focus on building decoration design industry as core business and extend its business towards the upstream and downstream industries such as construction industry, material industry and building decoration industry etc.

Subsequently, Xiong Zhaokuan, the executive secretary of Beijing Design Alliance took the priority to introduce the origin, activity arrangements of “Medical Care and Aged Services Design Forum” jointly hosted by Beijing Design Alliance, Design Committee of Beijing Building Decoration Association, the website of China Building Decoration Association. In addition, he introduced about a series of activities focusing on medical care and aged service industry including forum, training, establishing publication and academic committee etc.

As the medical-sanitary system reform deepens in recent years and the population aging problem is getting more and more serious in China, our medical care, caring for the aged and healthcare service industry attract more and more social attention, our government has begun to develop vigorously medical care and nursing for the aged and healthcare industry and has clearly proposed to combine medical care and elderly care service and explore out a multi-level, multi-system pattern and tendency with many segment markets composed of medical institutions and nursing institutions for the aged. For these reasons, in 2016 Beijing Design Alliance, Design Committee of Beijing Building Decoration Association and website of China Building Decoration Association will jointly organize “Medical Care and Aged Services Design Forum”, which will focus on the theme of medical care and nursing services for the aged, center on policy orientation, development tendency, service modes and management systems and have splendid clashes with planning and design, building installation, interior design and auxiliary facility etc.

After the meeting, many guests including Li Wei, the vice director of Beijing Construction Design Institute of Beijing Construction University, counselor of Beijing Hospital Building Association and assessment expert of hospital project of China Development and Reform Commission and Dong Yongqing, the chairman of Herui Qinyongshang Construction Consulting Co., Ltd. and an expert of sanitary engineering construction expert advisory committee under the Chinese Ministry of Health made wonderful speeches on the same topic “Planning and Design of Hospital Construction” from different perspectives through case study of many medical institution design and construction. Their speeches center on many aspects ranging from the functions, facilities, comfort experience and hospital resource allocation, different levels, specialty departments and specialty hospitals to the methods to rationalize, greenize, intelligentize and digitize hospital buildings.

This activity has attracted the leaders and designers of many enterprises including China Decoration, Qing Shang, Li Bei Ya, Zhong Yi, Jian Feng, Hong Gao, Zhu Bang, Beijing Decoration, Beijing Construction, the 1st Bureau of China Construction, Fuso, CITIC, China Construction, Hasee Great Wall and Shenzhen Jiangfeng etc. and a dozen of media including Sina Home Furnishing, Sohu Spot, Pacific Home Furnishing, website of China Building Decoration Association, China Materials News, China Construction News Website, Soufun Holdings, China Building Decoration Website, Designboom and Citiais etc. Totally 100 people joined the activity. To begin with, the 2016 work of Beijing Design Alliance will unfold slowly.
