China Decoration Hosted a Seminar for Committee of BIM Standard Compilation

On Octor 23rd, a seminar sponsored by China National Decoration Co. Ltd for Committee of BIM Standard Compilation for Building Decoration Industry was ceremonially opened in the meeting room of Sinodecor Tower, to which China Decoration’s Top managers like Mr. Xin Jianlin, General Manager, Mr. Guan Zuowei, Chief Engineer and Mr. He Changxu, Deputy General Manager were invited.

Mr. Xin Jianlin pointed out that Creation of BIM brings a revolutionary change to building decoration industry, which will serve as a powerful tool for project management. Meanwhile, adaptation of BIM has demonstrated great advantages in terms of computerization of project management, improvement of productivity and construction quality, reduction of construction period and lowering construction cost.

Standardization problem has always been a obstacle to development of BIM technology. With regard to this, the seminar focused on the correct measures for project implementation, which will be a strong propellant for development and exchange of BIM standard by serving not only as a sound bridge for communication of BIM standard in building decoration industry, but also a platform for exchange and cooperation between experts in this industry, all of which will be a guaranty for building decoration industry to fully master BIM technology.

The Seminar ended with loud applause, benefiting participants in terms of leaning BIM technology.
