Li Jiefeng Attended 9th International Energy-saving Conference & New-Tech Expo

On the morning of April 3rd, Mr. Li Jiefeng, Chairman and General Manager of China National Decoration C., Ltd, together with Mr. Hou Yu, Deputy General Manager and other leaders attended the Ninth International Conference on Green and Energy-saving Building & New Tech and Products Expo of 2013 held in Beijing International Conference Center. During the visit Chairman Li made in-depth communication with service-providers in the exhibition on issues including current intellectualization and of digitalization of green building, low-carbon eco-environmental protection technology and products, application of renewable energies in buildings, mechanisms and patterns for promoting green buildings, beam erection technology and product research of international green architectural decoration. He also collected various brochures of products and service for further reference. At the Singapore exhibition stand, Chairman Li discussed warmly with Mr. Zhu Famin, Deputy Director of Singapore Building and Construction Authority, and Mr. Xu Linji, Senior Director, during which he said, “Currently there still exists a big gap between China and developed countries in respects to building technology, energy consumption of buildings and comfort level of residential buildings. Therefore, such an international conference and exhibition of intelligent building development can not only boost mutual communication and cooperation, but also speed up the development of China’s green building by introducing international state-of-the art techniques and technologies.”

The International Conference on Green and Energy-Efficient Building & New Technologies and Products Expo is an international event launched by Chinese Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and cosponsored by relevant governmental agencies and associations at home and abroad. Since 2005 this conference has been held for eight sessions. In order to tackle climate change, governments and agencies of China and many foreign countries have paid much attention to and strongly supported the development of green building. Therefore this conference has developed into the largest and most influential event of the green and energy-efficient construction industry in China.

This session lasts for 4 days, where exhibitors include government officials, manufacturers, operators, system integrators, and investment enterprises, estate agents, building associations and experts and scholars of colleges from a dozen of countries such as UK, USA, France, Japan, India, Singapore, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Estonia and Poland.

This conference has promoted communication of global information on the up-to-date trends of green and energy-efficient building. What’s more, it has brought in the most advanced techniques and technologies of the present world, which leads China’s construction industry onto a course of resource-saving development, and provides unprecedented business opportunities for domestic and foreign enterprises as well.
