Accelerating Construction of the Museum to Embrace the 18th National Congress

A team led by Mr. Li Ji’an, District Secretary of Party Committee Visited China National Industry Museum Project Department of China National Decoration Co., Ltd for Spring Festival consolation and investigation.

On January 20th, a team comprised of Mr. Li Ji’an, member of standing Municipal Party Committee of Shenyang and District Secretary of Party Committee, Mr. Li Jun, Standing deputy magistrate of government of Tiexi District of Shenyang, Mr. Shen Weimin, vice chairman of CPPCC of Tiexi District of Shenyang and Director of steering division of preparation of construction of China National Industry Museum, and heads from the office of Party Committee of Tiexi District of Shenyang, Bureaus of Service Sector, Tourism, Culture and Sports and Documents and construction preparation division of China National Industry Museum, visited the museum project department of China National Decoration Co., Ltd to study the the construction progress, layout design and collection of cultural heritage. At the project department, they consoled the builders of the project, and extended their festival greetings to the workers at the construction frontier.

Mr. Li Ji’an Pointed out that he’s quite moved to watch the lively construction site and the worker’s passion to fight around the clock. After construction of the museum started, all workers from China Decoration and the Preparation Division pulled through all difficulties, fought continually with robust energy, and exerted great effort to ensure the fast pace of construction and scheduled opening of the museum, which was fully affirmed by District Party Committee and Government.

Li emphasized that it’s a big event to construct China National Industry Museum in Tiexi District, which was of realistic and far-reaching historical importance, also a great mission to be fulfilled. Principal in charge of the project from China Decoration responded that timeline and construction schedule would be rigorously observed, progress accelerated, and all obstacles and hardships overcome to guarantee construction quality and schedule, to support other construction of the museum, and to present the project as a gift to the 18th National Congress.

History of Tiexi’s industry development resembles a miniature of development of China’s modern industry, and serves an important role in China’s industrialization, as a “Ruhr-gebiet” of China. However, across the whole nation, there’s no museum that reflects the history of China’s industry development, construction of Tiexi China National Industry museum will put this absence to an end. The China National Industry Museum, has unique historic importance in terms of studying China’s industry development history, protecting historical relics of modern age, patriotic education, enhancing municipal culture and strengthening regional competitiveness.

The museum project department of China Decoration is accelerating the construction progress to ensure that the museum can open as scheduled.

To rigorously implement instructions by Mr. Li Ji’an and guarantee the timely opening of the museum, the museum project department worked day and night, relinquished the opportunity to reunite with their family during spring festival and worked at the construction frontier.

On January 29th, the first workday after the festival, Mr. Zhang Libo, standing vice president and Mr. Rong Lihui, deputy secretary general of China Foundry Association paid a visit and started their work on site. The leaders gave positive remarks on the construction progress of the museum, and also put forth suggestions concerning layout of a foundry hall.

Reportedly, the museum will open on May 18th. Collection of relics and arrangement of expos is under a tight schedule.
