Melody KTV Interior Decoration Project Examined by Assessment Expert Group

On October 24th, the Melody KTV interior decoration project, undertaken by the 9th branch of China National Decoration Co., Ltd, was reexamined for national excellent project assessment. The reexamination consisted of internal data review and onsite project inspection. The headquarters attached great importance to this examination and made considerable preparation to ensure the success of the assessment.

On the morning of 24, a meeting to review whether Melody KTV interior decoration project could be a national qualified and excellent project was held in the luxurious compartment on the site, of which the attendance includes an assessment group of 4 experts, Mr. Wu Lie, Deputy General Manager and Mr. Lu Mingjun, Vice Chief Engineer of China Decoration and representatives from the 9th branch company and the project department.

At the meeting, Mr. Wu Lie delivered a welcome speech on behalf of China Decoration; afterwards, the technical principal of the project made a detailed report on the outlook of the project, its features and complication, application of new tech, quality control measures, construction quality, its merits and award it has won and social influence of the project, etc.

Afterward, the assessment group of 4 experts made an onsite inspection of the project in the company of the company’s leaders like Mr. Wu Lie. The experts seriously examined many items of the project, such as design, decoration, basement, roof, electrical equipment, heat and water supply system, smoke exhaust system and ventilation and AC system, and made their comment on problems they found during inspection and put forth remedial advice, all carefully noted down by the accompanying people, who honestly listened to the advice and promised to rectify all problems.

After onsite inspection, the expert group made serious and comprehensive remarks concerning this inspection and put forward constructive suggestions. Mr. Lu Mingjun, expressed his thanks on behalf the company by saying, “this assessment activity offers a value opportunity for us to learn something. After the event, we will seriously consider the remarks and comment of the expert group, make in-depth research and actively identify our demerits, formulate and execute remedial plans, with the aim of making Melody a real nationally excellent project. At the same time, we will widely implement our construction principles of “conformity of quality, production safety and environment protection”, to achieve first-class construction quality, progress, project management and to win social trust, to build more qualified and excellent project as to make greater contribution to social construction and development of construction industry.”

In the end, the expert group fully affirmed China Decoration’s accomplishment in terms of creating outstanding projects, made high remarks on the company’s solid project management and timely correction of problems. China Decoration makes great effort in design, adopts various materials, standardizes construction shop drawings, keeps complete documents and actively corrects errors, they added. The experts also encouraged China Decoration to make greater achievements in future.
