Happiness Program – Action to Aid Mothers in Poverty

2007 is the 12th year after initiation of “Happiness Program – Action to Aid Mothers in Poverty” Campaign sponsored by China Population Welfare Foundation, China Family Planning Association and China Population News Agency. This campaign is carried through in 29 provinces, direct municipalities and autonomous regions, which has offered aid to 170,000 mothers in poverty and their families.

Jiangxi Province Suffered Typhoon “Talim”

From 1st to 4th of September of 2005, affected by No.12 Typhoon “Talim”, such regions like Jiujiang, Yichun, Nanchang, Shangrao and Ji’an underwent rainstorms and downpours, which severely hindered people life in the disaster-struck regions. Upon reception of notice from Bereau of Civil Affairs, China National Decoration Co., Ltd mobilized its employees to donate money to disaster-hit regions to help 3.37 million people in 33 affected counties of Jiangxi Province release from the disaster and rebuild their homelands as early as possible.
